School Hallway: Filming Day 4 is the attempt to shoot the scene that reflects the tension between the band mates after the audition. However, the first attempt to film this scene proved unsuccessful. One of the reasons is due to the short amount of time we had to shoot as well as not having a microphone so the sound quality was poor, and finally there were many disruptions despite school being closed. Additionally, the camera had little battery and the actors were unsure of their lines. Therefore, a re shoot was organised for the following week.
During the re shoot after school the location was still the same, and to our benefit there were few disruptions and as the filming took place after school the natural light was significantly darker, which benefited the look of the footage and had a better effect in representing that the band have come out of a long audition. Overall, the footage was satisfactory, the focus was correct, and the actors had learnt their lines.
Below shows the improved footage that we have decided to use in our final product.
