Music Rehearsal Room: During filming day 3 we planned to shoot the death of Art, one of the band members. This involved using one of the music practise rooms in the arts department and requesting the permission from the music teachers if it was okay to use the equipment within the practise room. The filming seemed to be a success as we have learned how to use and adjust the focus when filming. However, one issue that arose was the fact that during our filming orchestra rehearsals where occurring which resulted in none of the sound being able to use. Which may prove an issue during the editing process if we did want to use the sound.
The scene consisted of the electric guitarist innocently playing while the killer would creep up behind him and strangle him with a guitar lead, ironically the instrument he is playing is what causes his death. There is a risk that the actor may get injured however, to create the illusion that the actor is being strangled, he would hold and pull on the lead to keep it away from his neck yet still having the same horror impact.
